Beginner photography skills welcome. Must be comfortable kicking out through waves, swimming in open water, and handling changing ocean conditions..

Intro to Surf Photography
What you'll learn: Water housings, camera settings, positioning in the lineup and reading waves for the shot. Mini editing tutorial post-session. Camera & Housing provided.

Where: San Diego, CA. Location based on conditions and your experience.
Required Gear: Surf suit and short fins.

Below the surface
Intro to Underwater Photography
What you'll learn: Shooting through natural light, freediving with a camera, working with models underwater, and composition. Mini editing tutorial post-session. Camera & Housing provided.
Length: 3-4 hours
Where: La Jolla, CA. Sea caves, kelp or open water. Conditions and experience dependent.
Pre-Requisites: Must have experience with freediving and use of freediving equipment. Must be able to equilize.
Required Gear: Freediving Gear (snorkel/mask, fins, wetsuit, weights/weightbelt)
